A manual, or "pull-down" screen, can be mounted to the wall, to the ceiling, or even installed in the ceiling itself. The manual version is less expensive,and less glamorous, than the electric version, which can be raised and lowered at the touch of a button. Although installed in the room, a retractable screen can easily be concealed when not in use.
